A new Adobe User Group in Romania

It is called Transilvania Flex Group because in located in Cluj, in the middle of Transilvania. If you are interested you can go to this location and join. It’s the third Adobe User Group from my country and I suppose that we will another ones this year.

Java User Group Italy

I will be in Italy next week meeting with some customers, and I will visit also two java user groups – JUG Bologne in 20 March and JUG Padova in 21 March.

4Developers Conference

I’ll be in Krakow in 7 March speaking at one of the biggest programming event from Poland – 4Developers conference. My session will start at 11:50 and I’ll cover the integration between Flex and Java.

Flex User Survey

The Flex product managers created a survey in order to have a better understanding of the current users. The survey results are going to be used to improve the product so I encourage all the Flex developers to complete it.

Adobe nominated for Developer Awards

The biggest software conference in India – Great Indian Developer Summit – will take place on 22-25 April in Bangalore. The conference has a Developer Awards category when you can vote for your favorite products. Adobe is represented in several categories, so if you like products as Flex Builder, Livecycle Rights Management ES, and others you can vote for them.

Adobe AIR 1.5.1 was released

The Adobe AIR 1.5.1 was released today. It contains mostly bug fixes but also a new feature which allows to distinguish if the application was started automatically on user login or not. More details can be found on AIR team blog.

Java User Group Macedonia

I’ll be in Skopje (Macedonia capital) in 4 March speaking about Flex, Air and Java.

Flash 10 will be available for smartphones

Adobe announced a lot of new things at GSMA Mobile World Congress, one of them being related to Flash Player 10 – next year it will be available for most of the smartphones. There are a lot of another announcements – Adobe is investing a lot on the mobile platform – you can find them here
